Q: I'm going to be offered an IT job in Calgary and my family and I are looking for the best places to live. I have three daughters aged 9, 7 and 4. So schools are important. But also, we are from a rural location in the UK, so it would be nice to find a nice quiet location. But obviously, we don't want to be TOO FAR out of it. So, can you please tell me where would be best. Any other advice will be very, very welcome. Thanks
A: Calgary is huge. It really depends on which part of Calgary. If it's in the west side, Cochrane (about 15-20 mins) is a smaller town but it's booming right now. If it's South Calgary, there's Okotoks. North, you have Airdrie. East you have Chestermere.
