Q: My husband and I are heading up to Calgary September long weekend for our two year anniversary. Anything worthwile going to see or do that would be a nice way to celebrate our anniversary? I know I want to go to the Calgary Tower for supper...unless there is anything else good to do?
A: I used to live in Calgary and one of the nicest things to do is to walk along the water or canoe on the water - Glenmore Reservoir or the Elbow River from the Dam to the Zoo. Spending a day at the Zoo is fun, check to see if anything is going on at Princess Island Park or if you are horse fans, check out Spruce Meadows, just south of the city. For dinner, I would recommend one fo the Indonesian restaurants - Bali I think it is called. Great food and exotic environment. Congratulations and enjoy your day!
