A: As the previous poster said, it's a very expensive market in Calgary and isn't going to go down anytime soon. A one bedroom nice apartment will run you anywhere from $1000-$1400 while a two bedroom will be around $1200-$1700 in general. Keep in mind as well though that the wages are very high because most of the city is so desperate for workers. My friend's child is 17 and works at Tim Hortons (coffee shop if you aren't Canadian) for $14/hour, so it all equals out. Still isn't cheap.
