Q: have numerous pennies that need to be counted so I may collect the money. Yes Im lazy and do not wish to sort myself. CAN ANYONE HELP!!!!
A: Frank Sisson's Casino used to offer a coin counting service for charities, but that was years ago - not sure if he even does anymore. My two boys collect coins, and I found a great solution to the problem of sorting, counting and rolling - I got them a battery operated unit that sorts all types of coins from pennies right up to twoonies, counts them because they fall into proper denomination tubes that have level markers on them indicating the amount, and then the boys slide them into those pre-rolled cheap paper coin tubes. All that work turned into fun with what essentially looks like a cool toy!! I bought it at Zellers a couple of years ago... not sure if they still sell it, but i found the exact same one on this website: http://www.piggybankworld.com/Change-Dispenser-Bank-p-2066.html#detailed_images Not sure if you can purchse it here in Calgary, but Try calling Zellers or Walmart and asking about battery operated automatic coin sorters.
