Q: i want to know where is the best place to live in calgary with two little kids of seven and 4 years old
A: Just a note here, the other two responses have good links so check those out. With kids, assuming you're a responsible parent and want a safe community, I would avoid a couple areas. Forest Lawn is the worst community in the city and while it's technically only one community, there are about 11 'communities' that are all part of the general area that is Forest Lawn. Also if you're renting downtown the 'Beltline' on 11th ave and 12th ave SW is a high crime high drug use area, very dangerous at night. People say awful things about the NE (northeast) of Calgary but it really isn't that bad, just use common sense about walking around at night and what not. Good luck with finding a place.
