Q: suggestions on reasonable hotels, activities and restaurants?
A: Hotels in Jasper are all broadly similar in price. Any good travel site should let you compare them. There are NO chain or brand name hotels, except the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge which is by far the most expensive. Sights: the Athabasca Falls, not too far south. The breathtaking walk up to the Glacier of the Angel at Mount Edith Cavell. The aerial tramway up Whistlers Mountain, not to be confused with the British Columbia ski resort of the same name!
