Q: I would like to know how different Calgary is from any other American city. In addition, is it a great place to live? Also, is it affordable? Please don't get sarcastic with your answers. I am very aware of the fact that Calgary's not in America. I do look at maps. Sarcasm is very agitating to me and I can't stand what I percieve to be cantankerous humor. By the way, thanks for making me aware of the labor shortage in Calgary. Now I'm not sure if I want to move there or not. Thanks to those of you that responded to my question.
A: Calgary is starting to be like a big city, ex:crime,homeless,highercost of living,etc. Its growing too fast for the infastucture to keep up with which means sitting in your car during rush hour a lot longer waiting for road construction, which is way behind schedule. But there is lots of work for those who want it ( thats why the homeless population makes me wonder) But i think its a great place to work.
