A: Hi I am from Calgary originally and go there a few times a year. I find Calgary to be a fairly open minded place. Although, as I find most anywhere in the world, it is not without its share of people who are less tolerant. However, on the whole, I find Calgary to be a very open and accepting city to immigrants. When I compare it to other places I have lived like London, Paris, or Boston then there is no question. Calgarians are very open and accepting! Our country and city were built on people coming from all over to help make that happen. Most people still realise that. Good luck with your move. I am sure you will love the city.
