Q: Hello, I am french from France and i am in Calgary since 2 months for internship. I like to know where it's more easy to meet and speak with people. I have try some nigth club and bar but it's not easy to begin to speak with people on this type of area... So if you have an idea... A: No offense but you are in the wrong city if you are French. You no doubt will always be mistaken for a Quebecker and as such hated for being a whiney piece of garbage. Calgary is redneck central of Canada....I'd be careful where you go unless your english is very good.
