Drive time is about 10 hours from Vancover to calgary. Take hwy#1 east to hope/ if you have time continue on Hwy#1 east from Hope thru the fraser canyon for some great scenary. If in hurry from Hope take Hwy#5 north both wind you up in Kamloops . then Hwy#1 east thru Salmon Arm, Revelstoke, thru Yoho and Banff parks. If you have time spend some time in the Banff townsite. Another 1 1/2 past Banff your in calgary
