Looking for a free piano class at churchs in Edmonton?

Q: Anyone knows any church in Edmonton running a free piano class for adults that open to everybody regardless of their background?????? Thanks

A: Most free music programs are geared towards unprivileged children in the city. The Edmonton Intercity Children's Project Society gives free piano lessons to children in the intercity schools in the Boyle St and MaCauley areas. http://www.wcr.ab.ca/news/2004/0329/kids032904.shtml The Heart of the City gives free lessons to youth. http://www.usask.ca/communications/ocn/07-sept-07/18.php There are free online piano lessons for beginners. http://myoptinpage.com/?pid=1811326 http://www.free-online-piano-lessons.com/ http://www.pianotricks.com/ As for churches offering free piano lesson my suggestion would be to call Catholic Social Services Edmonton. or some of the Evangelistic churches as some of them do to help in the aid of learning their teachings. While these may not be exactly what you're looking for because most free lesson are geared at children I would suggest you make a call to the Catholic Social Services as they may be able to guide you to where you may find them. ** I just noticed an advertisement in the Edmonton Examiner this week. The ad say "Learn Piano For Free" it is apparently for adults 18 - 80. It is a free workshop on Jan 7, 8, 14, 15, 21 & 22. Check this week's Examiner for the details as it may be something that may interest you. Good Luck.
