Q: I will work i Edmonton between June and Aug, during my spare time, any tourist places and things I shouldn't miss it? This will be my first time visit Edmonton. I visited Banff before, how far is the National Park that everyone says? Suggestions? Thanks
A: Edmonton is beautiful in the summer! It really depends on what you like to do. Definately check out West Edmonton Mall (was the biggest mall in the world until not too long ago). There are lots of festivals in the summer...Capital Ex, Heritage Days, Fringe Festival (google them for more info). If you like nature, you should take a trip to the mountains. Banff and Lake Louise are gorgeous! It's about 5 hours drive...but you can stop into Calgary (another hip city) on the way. Hope you have fun!
