Q: Hello!I need info on edmonton canada. How is the city?is it as bad as everyone says with the crime?And how are the schools there?High school and all?Are they rough etc?Any info would be great!! Thanks!
A: It's a great city. My husband is with the RCMP so we have lived in a few different places and we love where we are now. Crime Rate is comparable to any other large city, of course there are some parts that are worse than others. The schools are good and there are some that specialize in certain areas, such as Victoria School which specializes in performing arts. Great community colleges and the University of Alberta is here. Lots of festival during the summer, and always a lot of good shopping. The river valley is also beautiful all year long. If you don't want to live right in the city, there are some outlying communities that are only about 10-15 minutes away, such as Sherwood Park and St. Albert.
