Q: heading out to calgary and edmonton in a few weeks, and besides west ed mall, i was wondering some good stores to check out. Are there any gucci, d and g, etc shops? any nice lingerie shops? and any nice alternative shops ie: goth. and some nice sex shops to check out with my bf?
A: for alternative shopping in Edmonton walk along Whyte Avenue in the south end of the city. There are some alternative shops in west ed mall, but they are limited in selection. Whyte Avenue is worth the trip across the river. If its goth specific that you are looking for be sure to find Sanctuary.
