A: The average price will probably about $1000 to $1300, depending how nice of a place you want and how central you want to be. If you want to live in the heart of downtown in a good neighbourhood, your looking at at anywhere from $1200 to over $2000 rent. A good cheat (the one I used) is I chose to live near whyte ave which is extremely close to shopping, entertainment and the university, and the lrt. It's only a 5 min lrt to central downtown! On whyte ave you can find more modest prices. Somewhere near 82 Ave & 109 St.
