Q: I am travelling with my family to Edmonton Alberta, from 21 August to 27, where do you recommend me to go. What should I not miss? My parents are almost 50, I am 21 and my brothers are 18 and 11. I will study at the University of Alberta this Fall. We are mexicans. I will like to know what places at Edmonton we should not miss. Thanks
A: Of course West Edmonton Mall, there's the sea caverns, sea lion show, water park, arcade and galaxy land in there. Not to mention excellent shopping! Also, Fort Edmonton Park is a fun place to go, they have a website online. Skip the zoo, it isn't exciting, probably the worst zoo I've ever been to. The fringe festival is on whyte ave until the 24th! It's an excellent time. There are amazing performances and kiosks and food. Everyone loves this festival. You and your older brother should hit up the clubs while you're here... my favorites are Empire Ballroom, Union Hall, and Vinyl. Or if you wanna go bar hoping, theres a million bars on whyte ave. Make sure if you go to one of the bigger clubs that I just mentioned, you get there before 10 to avoid line ups! Have fun in Edmonton, I hope you enjoy your stay!
