Q: We plan to stay in the Downtown Area
A: Let's see.. Go to The Public Gardens, it's right downtown and is really beautiful. Go to Historic Properties, there will be TONS going on there and it is all "old Halifax"..cobblestone streets, no cars, etc. Wonderful shops and museums. The Waterfront is down there as well. This will be hopping that weekend. Lots of family friendly as well as adult friendly entertainment. The waterfront is easy to find. Go see Citadel Hill, but not at night. I wish i knew where you were staying! If you add that i can give you more ideas. You will have a great time..Halifax is really great!
