Q: Anyone know of anywhere good to head for a week-end ? 2-3 hour drive would be prefered.
A: You can be on Prince Edward Island enjoying warm waters and sandy beaches in 3 hours from Halifax. Nice easy drive and if i may be so bold, stay on the south shore of P.E.I. as the waters are warmer and the tourist go to the beaches on the north shore. Victoria area , 15 minutes from the bridge has some very nice places to camp, or B&B's and you have easy access to Summerside, Charlottetown and the tourist traps of Cavendish, Stanhope areas. Tell them Bob sent you, lol.
