whats life in halifax canada like?

Q: dalhousie uni? is it good for international students

A: halifax is an amazing city. there is so much to do, there are many different restaurants and has a killer nightlife. it has so many different pubs and bars that you can go and hangout at and drink. also fun night clubs like the dome and the palace--( diiirty, wouldnt go there) and the domino. halifax hosted the junos this year, which is a very big deal .. coldplay came!! hahah and they loved it. the city is on the water, the waterfront is very nice walk and the buskers come in the summer from all around the world for ten days i think it is. you can take a stroll on spring garden road, the busiest street in the maritimes ! hahaha or visit argyle street for one of the 10 restaurants on it. they even have street parties! hahahaha they shut it down and bring in music and the patios are set up on the street , so everyone can paaaaarty! :) it is very much a university city. with smu, dal, kings, mount st vincent and the community colleges, the art school on .....water street...? sorry i dont know. there are tonnes of people. and yes dal is excellent for international students, it is a hugggggggge school and lots of different people attend it. you will do just finnnnne. i bet your studying some kind of engineering..... lol am i right? but anyways.... it is a great city , lots of shopping too, you can go to micmac ( dartmouth), or halifax shopping center. go to one of the pizza corners, pretty much every corner has a pizza shop lol. ( in the city) and you should visit the black market on market place. or and about the weather...... yes it does get veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery cold in the winter.. brr cold thinking about it.... there was a huge snow storm one year, "white" juan and all the schools/universities were shut down. also there was a hurricane too called juan! but it is also verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry hot in the summer. like 30'C oh and PLEASE DONT SWIM IN THE HARBOUR
