Q:

A: Go to the west side (Digby) to see the Bay of Fundy and watch the tides. Don't miss Peggy's Cove and be sure to eat local lobster. Drive the road that goes directly along the coast and the coves are beautiful. Drive up around the north part: Cape Breton Island. There is a great ship museum in Halifax. The capitol bldg is about 2 blocks away. There is also a green "duck" tour available nearby. Shelburne is really nice with a museum. In Luneburg is the fishery museum. The quaint seacoast village of Mahone Bay offers art, craft and antiques shops and a picturesque shoreline consisting of stones and boulders. There is a catamaran ferry in Yarmouth that goes to Bar Harbor, Me. It is VERY fast. There are a lot of lighthouses in NS, our favorite was in Yarmouth. I hope you have the entire month or you will run out of time. Take a side trip to PEI if at all possible. It is a whole different world, nothing like NS. I hope this helps.
