Q: I am very curious, with global warming, what weather is like year round in Nova Scotia, Canada. Are there better parts of Nova Scotia than others?

A: I don't agree with you riverkenn, sorry. The Bay of Fundy in NB is totally different in NS. The summers are the HOTTEST there in NS (from personal experience). Of course anywhere right beside the water is a bit cooler then further inland, but the coolest places are along the South Shore, up along the coast towards Halifax etc. Even in the middle of summer the Atlantic waters are freezing cold (making it hard to swim at the beach lol). The winters have gotten milder over the years, with more ice storms. Depending on the winter, you could see a LOT of snow, or not much at all. It can get as hot or as cold as anyplace else, but on average everything is a bit milder compared to other provinces (not Vancouver mild, but we're able to plant according to different hardiness zones than most of Canada). If you want cooler temps in the summer, try coastal Cape Breton, if you want milder winters, try the South Shore (Chester, Bridgewater area). Of course, the most beautiful place to live or visit is Cape Breton though=)
