What do you think about halifax???

Q: do u like it or not and why

A: I love Halifax. It has a vibrant Arts community, really hip music scene, great restaurants, several Universities, lots of museums and cultural spaces like Pier 21 and Citadel Hill. We've been here since 1749, and we were the headquarters for the British forces during the American revolution and the War of 1812. You can see the graveyard where the Titanic victims are buried, a monument to the veterans of the Crimean War. Spring Garden Road is full of cool boutiques and cafes. If you want to shop, there are plenty of malls and shopping centres with pretty much the same stuff you would find in the US like Gap, Old Navy, etc. Lots of uniquely Canadian stuff too. We have great hospitals, lots of live theatre and music, Celtic culture. The people are friendly and open. We are liberal-minded and multi-cultural. We talk to strangers at bus stops. Crime is low. It is not Toronto, or Vancouver, or Montreal or New York. If you want a huge city, go to one of those - they are great too. If you want a nice small city with culture, lots of jobs and friendly people, come here! Hope this helps!
