Q: I noticed that the rent is substantially cheaper in Dartmouth than in Halifax proper. I'm going to be a student at Dal in the fall and I was wondering how inconvenient it really is to make the commute. I'm used to 30 mins by bus and about a 7 min walk to my stop and that doesn't bother me.
A: Yes, actually it is quite inconvenient to get from Dartmouth to Dal, especially when you are on a schedule. I would choose to live somewhat closer, as others have suggested. Best of luck.
