Q: http://www.walkandseacharlottetown.com/request-guide/ https://novascotia.com/en/home/planatrip/travel_guides/default.aspx are they free or do i have to pay for delivery?
A: The price is information, not money. Your travel plans and everyone else's that they get, give them an idea of who and how people are travelling to their destination and what they are looking for. If, for example 75 out of 100 respondents put fly fishing as one of their interests then they can investigate all the places that offer it, have lodging and restaurants near it etc. It is definitely in their best interests to know what their potential clients are expecting and a good travel agent tries to deliver travel packages that include the most wanted items. In exchange for the postage, they will send you a brochure. Or if you are near a tour agent, you might just try walking in and asking. Never knew one that refused to give out a brochure they had.
