Q: I do not think there is a zoo in Halifax - What is the biggest pet shop that i can visit in Halifax? Is there waterworld(or any place that is similar) in Halifax? Please guide me with more good places to visit in Halifax or nearby Halifax (any city that is not far from Halifax more than 2 hours) Don't be surprised on my writing - English is my second language. I appreciate your help
A: Most people who visit Halifax like to make the trip to Peggy's Cove - awesome Atlantic scenery. There aren't really any other cities within two hours of Halifax. Moncton is a little farther away than that, and is in New Brunswick. Rent a car and do some of the scenic drives. Visit the Annapolis Valley and if you are willing to drive a little further than two hours, you can explore the old fortress of Louisburg in Cape Breton. There are many wonderful parks to visit, and a great deal of scenery. However, you won't find much in terms of water parks - the closest would be Magic Mountain in Moncton. I think there is a Pets Unlimited in Halifax. These links may be of some help.
