Whats better: Newfoundland OR Nova scotia??

Q:

A: They have many similarities and many differences. Both provinces are very welcoming to newcomers and try to make people feel at home. The Newfoundland economy, especially in the St. John's area, is booming right now because of the offshore oil industry. Cost of living is somewhat cheaper in Newfoundland in some ways, but the cost of housing is going up in leaps and bounds. Newfoundland is probably culturally more distinctive than Nova Scotia. However, from Newfoundland you have to take a ferry for several hours or fly to go anywhere else, whereas from Nova Scotia you can easily drive to the rest of Canada or to the US. Air fare to and from NL is expensive. Quality of life is great in both provinces. Salaries are a bit lower in Newfoundland than in Nova Scotia. Employment opportunites are somewhat limited in both.
