Q: going on motorcycles on a small buget need to know witch way to go and what to see and where to stay , campgrounds are cool but motels are better if any one has any thoughts let me know

A: According to Mapquest, the fastest route is to take I-81 north until you reach Canada (you will be in Ontario) and then take 401 heading east. The trip is about 250 miles and will take about 4 1/2 hours. Here are the more detailed directions from Mapquest: http://www.mapquest.com/directions/main.adp?go=1&do=nw&rmm=1&un=m&cl=EN&qq=hltF3hzNT9tNhURP0HLlhh9UYBmHRqyBceg4Gkon14D8uewLk7pjHQ%253d%253d&ct=NA&rsres=1&1y=US&1ffi=&1l=&1g=&1pl=&1v=&1n=&1pn=&1a=&1c=Jewell&1s=NY&1z=&2y=US&2ffi=&2l=&2g=&2pl=&2v=&2n=&2pn=&2a=&2c=Montreal&2s=QC&2z=&r=f Another possible route is to take I-90 East into Albany and then take I-87 all of the way north to Montreal. But this route will take you at least 6 to 7 hours to reach Montreal. Once you reach Montreal, there are several activites you can do without spending much. You can walk around Old Montreal, you can hike up Mont Royal (gorgeous view!), or you can visit a few museums (a lot of the museums are entry by donation only). But of course there a few activities where you have to pay but are still worth the money. They include Biodome and the nightlife (go to either Rue Crescent or Rue St. Laurent). And for a place to stay, here is a list of motels from Canada's Yellow Pages: http://www.yellowpages.ca/search/?what=motels&stype=si&provs=QC%2C&src=&where=Montreal&dirs=095447%2C095449%2C999993%2C999999&y=0&x=0&rca=00880800& Each listing has an address, phone number, and sometimes a website (if the motel has one). Hope you have a wonderful trip to Montreal!
