Q: My friends and I decided to take a road trip to Montreal for a weekend in late July. What route should we take? What stops should we make? I forgot to say from where.. from NYC!
A: You really have two choices, either taking the 87 highway up through Albany and the Adirondacks, or the 91 highway up through Connecticut and Vermont into Canada. Both are great choices and have plenty too see and do. However I would go up one way and come back the other, then you don't have to choose. Highway 91 is a longer route, I would do that first and then come back by way of highway 87.
