Q: I decide visit Montreal 1 day, I would drive my car to Montreal and park here whole day, and travel around the city areas ( Eton Centre, China Town, Old Montreal, Mont-Royal...) by local bus and Metro. Would some one kindly tell me which public Parking Lots I can park whole day (reasonable price) and are most easy acess by the tourists. Thanks again.

A: One I can think of, top of my head right now, is on Boulevard de Maisonneuve and Rue de la Montagne. It's an outdoor one and you'll be able to spot it right away. If you can't find it, drive your car around within Rue University -- Rue Crescent and Boulevard de Maisonneuve -- Rue St. Catherine [I basically gave you a box where you should be if trying to enjoy the Downtown atmosphere] You will find an outdoor parking within this box very easily. It's almost everywhere. Price varies. Could go from $7 - $25 for a day depending on which day it is. Metro stations within the box that i just gave you are Peel and Mcgill. Eton Centre is right within the box. (if you enjoy shopping, and like to walk outside, go up and down on st catherine) China town is close from the box. Old Montreal is a bit of a walk but I've done it from the box (about 35 min walk). Mount Royal "Park", I'm assuming, is also a bit of a walk from the box. So if I may, I suggest you visit the park at the beginning or end of your day since the parking there is free. I believe the parking is along avenue du parc. Or you can drive your car up the mountain and park at a parking lot along Voie Camillien-Houde. Voie Camillien-Houde can be accessed from Avenue du Parc. People in Montreal can be intimidating but are friendly enough to point you to the right direction if you ask. Hope you enjoy your visit and please let me know if you have more questions.
