Q: We're going for a weekend in June, and we're looking for the most comfortable rooms, best atmosphere and overall experience.

A: Then pick the hotel you want to stay at instead of by it's location. Montreal has a wonderful easy subway system and it's easy to get where you want to go. The best resturants and hotels are not in the old city, but in the downtown area. Old City is wonderful and fun...for a day. You will have more fun downtown.
