Q: I will be traveling to Montreal in December and I need to get a taxi to my hotel - does anybody know if there are taxis I can take from Gare Centrale from a taxi stand or something? My hotel is the Loews Hotel Vogue at 1425 De La Montagne
A: yeah, but where's your hotel? Several are attached to Gare Central underground. Then again, the taxi stand is pretty much indoors too, I believe. Note that Montreal taxi drivers don't appreciate short fares! Ooooh, that's only a few blocks away (but not attached). Be prepared to get growled at!
