Q: I'm going to Montreal next week from San Francisco. Should I exchange it here in the US or should I wait until Canada? How can I get the best rates? Thanks!
A: Go to a charter bank if you can find one. They give the best rates. I use my debt card and use an ATM machine to get money when Im in Ontario. The exchange occurs thru my own bank, and im not charged any extra fees either.
