Q: I am Planning engineer PMP certified, I am ready to do a master but I don;t know what to do???

A: PMP is a recognized organization for certification in Canada but as an immigrant, you may be asked to pass a PMP certification exam to obtain a license to work in your field here in Canada. I would recommend you contact a Canadian professional association of engineers to try and get a clarification on this. It should cost you nothing to ask what is required for you to obtain a job. To be licensed, you may need to become a member of one of these organizations. Also, please note that requirements are different from one province to another. I recently heard a story about a fellow having problems getting a professional license to be recognized in Quebec. However, by simply crossing into Ontario and paying a fee to take a qualification exam there instead of in Quebec, that person was able to be qualified for ALL of Canada, since the Ontario license was accepted for qualification across the country.
