A: Just to get the facts right, sorry, but not every one speaks French in Quebec. I am speaking about the province, as a whole. I live in Montreal.French is the official language in Quebec, and when you receive a legal letter it will be in French.I actually have elderly relatives who do not know any french at all.If you know both languages fluently, it is easier to get employment, though.
