My hometown is Montreal so I am naturally biased considering I grew up there but I have also been to Quebec City a few times to visit; don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful and fascinating city too with a wonderful architecture and urban infrastructure but personally, I would never live there: too much steep walking involved (I am sooooo lazy, lol!)! The inhabitants? Well, most folks in Montreal are bilingual but it is rarely the case in Quebec City. Matter of fact, if you don't speak French in or around Quebec City, you're pretty much screwed, so to speak! They won't like it and that's a guarantee!
