Q: i might be going there for a french trip and i was just wondering

A: It's a wonderful place. I spent a day there and I wish I had longer. The city is unlike any other in North America as it is very European. The old town has some streets that are so narrow that it can be hard to drive a car through. Many buildings date back to the 1600s. My favorite thing to see was the Chateau Frontenac, which is that old hotel by the river. Walking through the old town is great, as there are endless buildings to see and shops to go through. There is also excellent cusine. If you get a chance, go see the Montmorency Falls just north of town. The falls is about a quater mile away from the St. Lawrence River, and falls 275 feet or 84 Meters with a tremendous amount of water falling over it.
