Q: every one in grade 8 is going to quebec in a week. and i thought that when were in our hotel rooms, we might be a little bored. Just wondering if any one has any ideas on what to do..?
A: I've been on MANY school trips and, believe me, you are never bored. Check out where your hotel is and see if there is a little shopping centre nearby. It's always fun just hanging around the hotel, chatting in your rooms or going outside and exploring the area. When I was in Scotland this spring with my band/choir someone brought out a soccer ball and a game started up. Bring a frisbee or a ball and if there is a park nearby you can go and play. Cards are always fun. Bring poker chips if you like poker or 31. Take crazy videos on your camera, it's hilarious when you get home and see all the weird stuff you filmed. Check out if there is a pool at the hotel; they can provide HOURS of fun. If you speak French, just go out into the community and practice your French. You're going to have a great time!
