Q: I live in Quebec, and I recently applied online for an updated birth certificate, As this is now required to enter the United States. The website didn't give me a clear estimate as to how long it would take. I'm needing it as soon as possible. Does anyone have any idea how long I must wait? A: It could take anywhere from 2 weeks to 3 months for them to send you your updated birth certificate. A month wait seems to be the norm.
