Q: the other day, I noticed the TTC buses said hybrid electric along the sides. rabbitluver: Actually, some of them do. Most of the ones I rode in the last few weeks had this electic thing at the front that says "Next stop:_______" It says it out loud, and it's also written at the front of the bus. Pretty neat stuff.
A: The answer is yes, they do! Although to contrary, from the post above, only very few busses actually have the GPS Feature attached with the Hybrid Electric Busses. I have only ridden this bus once too. I took the 85 Sheppard Eastbound going to the Toronto Zoo that time and I wasnt expecting the GPS System. But it was there....fully working.
