Q: I'm probably going there this fall for college. What are some fun things to do, or stores that a 20ish female would enjoy?
A: Toronto has FANTASTIC shopping. LOTS of stores within short walking distance of each other downtown, I'd suggest starting out at the Eaton Center (Toronto's largest mall). Orfus Road is good for shopping on a budget :) Notables: Ontario Science Center - different exhibits all the time CN Tower - MUST SEE obviously, great gourmet restaurant (360-it rotates!) and excellent view Ontario Place - rides, water park, fun in the summer time Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) Eaton Center - biggest mall Pacific Mall - Asian mall, Hello Kitty/electronics is what I typically look for here Orfus Road - great outlet shopping Toronto Metro Zoo - huge zoo Church Street - gay community Kensington Market - a lot of things, especially ethnic businesses, food especially High Park - biggest park I think? beautiful Paramount Canada's Wonderland - TONS of rides, waterpark, concerts, etc. Casa Loma - a castle right in the city Canadian National Exhibition (CNE, The Ex) - seasonal, has dog shows and booths, carnival HTO Park - beach Hockey Hall of Fame - kind of obvious, isn't it? As for clubs, there are tons of websites about Toronto nightlife...
