Q: i need more info plz and thank u

A: During the 1960s there was a massive construction boom in Toronto--skyscrapers were being built amongst Toronto's previously constructed relatively low buildings. These low buildings caused serious communication problems, as they were not high enough to broadcast over the new buildings. Signals bounced off the buildings, resulting in poor television and radio reception for residents. With the 553.33m antenna, the CN Tower resolved Toronto's communication issues; therefore, Torontonians and those residing in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) now enjoy some of the clearest reception in North America.
