A: Toronto has a great gay village. I'm not gay myself but I have a few gay friends. The only club who's name I remember was called The Fly. Not even sure if it is still open as that was 6 years ago. There was a few gay clubs in that area. You don't have to limit yourself to gay venues. Toronto is a very gay friendly city. The Keg Mansion (just a Keg in a fancy old mansion with a lot of history) is in the middle of the gay village. Much of the staff there is gay. If you start there someone could direct you.
