A: That address is in the Kipling/Albion area, which is not the best part of the city. Apart from the fact that the area is somewhat shady, it's just not close to anything, including the subway. It's very far from U of T; you would have to commute for over an hour by bus and then subway to get to school every day. If you're looking at apartments in this building, I would say, reconsider your decision and perhaps target your search to areas closer to downtown. As for Dixon Road, again, not close to U of T. It's part of the stretch of "North Etobicoke" (along with Kipling/Albion) that is considered to be less than desirable. As a general rule, you will probably not want to live anywhere north of Eglinton Avenue and west of Allen Road.
