A: No but as an experienced traveller and a MCSE and A+ tech, do remind them to do a hand check of any sensitive materials, CD's cannot be erased with the scanners, but certain usb drives and laptop harddrives can be effected, depending on the models, like digital cameras and camcorders (more the Memory cards) just open the bag have them inspect it and pass it threw, check baggage also is X-rayed for security reason both leaving and coming in at random.
