Q: Other than the touristic sites, what are other nice places I should visit while here? Preferably places I can get by subway or bus!
A: There's actually pretty much nothing. Hate to break it to you, but Toronto is a pretty boring place. However, here are some suggestions (they're not that exciting): Royal Ontario Museum (apparently, though, the gallery is quite badly stocked) CN Tower Queen's Park (site of the Ontario legislature) University of Toronto (nice grounds, some old buildings) Science Centre (quite dull) I'd say your first stop should be Mt. Pleasant Cemetary- it really is beautiful and there are old tombstones (like those of the pioneers). There are also famous Canadians buried there. That's pretty much the highlight of Toronto.
