Q: Should we get one of those day pass thingies? I think they're $8? Would we each have to get one? Is there some sort of weekend pass we could get? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.
A: it would depend on how much traveling you plan on doing. A day pass is $9, only worth it if you plan on taking transit 4 or more times in a single day. A weekly pass is about $32 I think, you would need to use it about 5 times everyday for a week to make it worth the price. If you're not planning on using TTC that much I recommend getting tokens, they are sold at subway stations, and some convenience stores. Regular fare is $2.75 but if you buy 10 or more tokens at a time it works out to about $2.25.
