A: The only time anyone in my family has ever been stopped at the US/Canadian border (Niagara/Buffalo) was two years ago when I failed to realize that I was sporting a mustache and beard while my ID photo was taken clean shaven. After being asked to pull over and show my printed proof of my booked lodgings to an agent inside, I was allowed into Canada without further incident. Just make sure you are honest, serious, have everything in order and look like your ID photo when you cross.
