Q: My friends and I want to go to the Chinese lantern festival at Ontario place in Toronto (Canada). One of my friends said last year she got in for free because her dad walked her through this route and got in. But we asked her dad to explain and he couldnt explain clearly. Does anyone know a route to get in for free?
A: I don't think there is a completely free way to get in. If you go through CNE, you'll have to pay for the admission to CNE and then you can go to Ontario Place without paying extra for Ontario Place. If you go directly to Ontario Place you'll have to pay admission to go in too. The Lantern Festival is supposed to be extra, but my friends tell me you can be in Ontario Place before the Lantern Festival and "hide" until it opens.
