Q: could someone please give me a listing of all the jails in toronto and how to get to them
A: There are three and a half, and one is planned. Metro East Detention Centre, (Civic Rd., Scarborough) Metro West Detention Centre, (Disco Rd., Rexdale (NW Toronto) Mimico Correctional Services Centre (Horner Ave., Etobicoke) (A replacement for this is a current news item..no details yet) The half is the old Don Jail, about 100 years old, which I believe is now only used for remanded prisoners, rather than for anyone serving sentences.
