is it easy to find a job in toronto without a social insurance number?

Q: I'm thinking about going to toronto to find a job and a place there. I'm educated, i have a bachelors degree in Computer science. I'm a 24 year old Mexican, I speak spanish, great english and average german. I know i could apply for a work permit as a skilled worker. But i do not want to live in Canada for a long time, i do not want to be a resident or citizen, I just want a bit of an adventure for 6 months, maybe a year. Working any job that would help me support myself and save a little money after that i'll just come back home or go somewhere else. What do you think? Thanks.

A: If you want to work in Canada, go through the proper channels and make it easy for yourself, a year is a long time, and you will need health insurance, a SIN number will help. The job market in Alberta is booming and finding legal employment there with your credentials should not be a problem.
